Traffic change on I-135 near Moundridge

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Interstate 135 traffic near Moundridge will be moved to the southbound lanes by Friday as work progresses to reconstruct the northbound lanes, KDOT says.

During the northbound reconstruction, traffic will be reduced to one lane and carried at a reduced speed on the newly constructed southbound I-135 lanes from mile marker 46.5 to mile marker 49.5.

The southbound exit and entrance ramps at Exit 48 will reopen, and the northbound exit and entrance ramps at Exit 48 will close. Drivers should expect minimal delays, not exceeding five minutes.

KDOT says the $19 million project is scheduled to be finished in late July, weather permitting.
