Traffic Alert: Southbound lanes reopen on MoPac after crash

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Traffic was down on MoPac Expressway in south Austin due to a crash Friday, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

Around 2 p.m. Friday, TxDOT said all southbound lanes on MoPac at Barton Skyway are closed.

It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the crash or if there were any injuries. Drivers are urged to avoid the area or seek an alternate route.
