Traffic Alert: Liberty Bell Boulevard lanes reopened

UPDATE: According to a spokesperson for Johnson City, all lanes except one have reopened in the area.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Liberty Bell Boulevard in Johnson City is closed Thursday morning due to a downed tree and power lines.

According to a spokesperson for Johnson City, both sides of Liberty Bell Boulevard are closed between John Exum Parkway due to the downed tree and power lines.

Cotty Jones Lane and Tanglewood Lane remain open.

Crews are reportedly working to clear the debris and reopen the road.

Motorists are advised roads will possibly not be reopened before school drop-off traffic peaks.
