1 flown to hospital, seriously injured after crash on I-70

UPDATE:

One person was seriously injured after a crash in Harmony Township Wednesday night.

Around 8:40 p.m. Ohio State Highway Patrol was called to a crash on I-70 near the 68-mile marker.

An initial investigation found that a car was traveling west on I-70 when it hit the back of a semi, according to OSP.

The car then traveled off the side of the road, overturning into a nearby tree line.

The driver was trapped and once removed taken to Miami Valley Hospital by a medical helicopter.

Their injuries are described as serious, but non-life-threatening.
