Tractor trailer loaded with frozen hash browns rolls over on interstate exit
Apr. 8—A tractor trailer carrying frozen hash browns rolled over at exit 11 on I-295 southbound near Falmouth early Thursday morning.
The driver — Preston Beaton, 52, of Montaque, Prince Edward Island — suffered minor injuries and has been released from Maine Medical Center in Portland, according to Shannon Moss, spokesperson for the Maine State Police.
The crash closed both the exit and the Route 1 on-ramp to the Falmouth spur which has since been cleared, the Maine DOT said.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
