UPDATE: 7:03 A.M. WYTHEVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Traffic is at a standstill on I-77 South after a tractor-trailer crashed in Wytheville on Tuesday morning.

All southbound lanes remain closed and traffic is backed up for about one mile.

WYTHEVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — The Virginia Department of Transportation says drivers traveling on I-77 South in the Town of Wytheville can expect delays after a tractor-trailer crashed.

The crash occurred at mile marker 41.4, near the Wytheville Community College. Currently, all southbound lanes are closed, and traffic is backed up for about one mile.
