TPD investigate ‘suspicious death’ in downtown Topeka

TOPEKA (KSNT) – Topeka Police are investigating a “suspicious death” in downtown Topeka.

Just after 1:15 p.m. April 16, Topeka police responded to an alleged stabbing in the 700 block of Southwest Western Ave. A spokeswoman with the Topeka Police Department (TPD) said once officers arrived, they found one induvial who was dead, according to medical personnel.

TPD is investigating this incident as a suspicious death. The investigation is ongoing.
