Towanda woman sentenced for multiple offenses in Bradford County

TOWANDA, Pa. (WETM) – A Towanda woman has been sentenced to serve time in a correctional facility, as well as probation, for charges involving three separate incidents last year.

According to the Bradford County District Attorney’s Office, Bobi Jo Noto, 41, was sentenced to a minimum of 72 hours in the Bradford County Correctional Facility to a maximum of six months, as well as two years of probation supervision, on the charges of driving under the influence of meth, marijuana and buprenorphine; endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.

Noto’s charges started in March of 2023 when she was charged by a Pennsylvania State Trooper for a DUI after a traffic stop.

She was then arrested in April of 2023 by Towanda Borough Police for endangering the welfare of a child in Towanda Borough after she failed to stop when the child was trying to get out of the car, causing them to get knocked down by the door.

The two had been arguing before the incident occurred which the DA says suggested that Noto ignored the risk of the child being run over when she didn’t stop.

Noto was then arrested by Towanda Borough Police for harassment after a fifteen-minute argument between herself and another person outside of the post office in Towanda Borough, where she failed to stop yelling profanities after police showed up.

Noto is required to maintain good behavior while on probation supervision or she will risk being revoked and sentenced to harsher punishment.
