She's pictured makeup-free and wearing a straw hat over a blue knitted beanie as Chris leans in wearing a dark green hoodie to put his head on her shoulder.  The chef has an open-mouth smile as he poses for the photo while Amy holds their small black pup that's dressed in a red doggie hoodie. 'Married 6 months today,' the comedienne and trainwreck star wrot eint he caption. 'I love you more every day. But it wasn't her summery ensemble that had us applauding Schumer. It was her comment about her choice of footwear, which she revealed was due to back pain.  “Samantha Bee said heels are dead to her,” Schumer said, referencing the fellow comedian and TV host's blazer-and-sneakers uniform that's become a signature on Bee's talk show, Full Frontal. “And I just feel like in a couple years we're all going to be like, 'Remember when we wore heels?! Our backs hurt!'” There you have it, ladies: No more heels and no more back pain. (But more Amy,

Despite criticism and sabotage, Amy Schumer keeps crafting wickedly brilliant satire

Amy Schumer is putting in the work. Schumer acts in movies (2015's Trainwreck, which she also wrote, 2017's Snatched and this year's I Feel Pretty); writes books (her 2016 memoir The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo topped The New York Times best-seller list); has a hit sketch comedy television show (Comedy Central's Inside Amy Schumer, currently on hiatus); acts on Broadway (her performance in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower earned her a Tony nomination); and maintains a rigorous stand-up touring schedule, one that brings her to the Cosmopolitan for a two-date mini residency August 10 and 11 (with two more shows on November 2 and 3). Liberal audiences accuse Schumer of muddling the message at the expense of making dirty jokes (Los Angeles Times critic Lorraine Ali called Schumer's career a “drunken walk of shame toward world domination”), while misogynist trolls strive to shut her down completely.

Schumer, who introduced the conference's Voices of the Year, an honor recognizing influential women in media and business, began her speech by thanking Union, a BlogHer18 #WinningWomen keynote speaker, for helping her become a more woke person and never criticizing her for her lack of social awareness. Schumer recommended audience members to treat their non-woke friends
