Topeka police respond to deadly shooting at Reser’s Fine Foods

TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Topeka Police Department (TPD) was at Reser’s Fine Foods on reports of a deadly shooting Thursday afternoon.

City spokeswoman Rosie Nichols says officers were called just after 4:30 p.m. on April 11 to 3167 SE 10th Street in Topeka at Reser’s Fine Foods. Police found a person suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound at the scene who was later pronounced dead.

The victim was later identified as 39-year-old Reginald D. Previtte of Topeka. Investigators believe the shooting is an isolated incident that occurred in the parking lot with no other injuries reported.
