Russian propagandist Olga Skabeyeva openly discussed her role in disseminating Kremlin narratives during a speech at the Young Fighter's Course forum. Information Front, on April 19.

Skabeyeva confessed her involvement in the "aggressive imposition" of narratives favoring Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"There is absolutely no need to be ashamed of this word (propaganda)," Skabeyeva declared. She did not address the use of misinformation in her work.

"What's wrong with propaganda? The more difficult times we are going through, the more polarized information becomes, and the more it pursues certain interests. There is no such thing as objective information. There is only information for which, unfortunately, someone paid. And if you and I consider ourselves patriots, it is better to work for the state... Even if it is by aggressively imposing the interests of your country, the interests of your state," Skabeyeva explained.
