Top Boy star among cast confirmed for new Netflix rom-com series

Top Boy's Adwoa Aboah is among the star-studded cast confirmed for Netflix's upcoming rom-com series Too Much.
The actress, best known for her role as Becks in the Netflix crime drama, joins previously announced cast members Megan Stalter (Hacks) and Will Sharpe (The White Lotus).
Created by Lena Dunham and her husband Luis Felber, Too Much follows Stalter's character Jessica, a New York workaholic who isolates everyone she knows after her relationship falls apart.

Jessica decides to take up a job in London so she can "live a life of solitude like a Brontë sister", but things take an unexpected turn when she strikes up a connection with Felix (Sharpe).
Although Felix is described as "a walking series of red flags", Jessica finds their "unusual connection impossible to ignore, even as it creates more problems than it solves".
Too Much's stacked cast also includes Saltburn actor Richard E. Grant, Barbie's Rhea Perlman, Game of Thrones star Dean-Charles Chapman, The Prom's Andrew Rannells, Emily Ratajkowski and Stephen Fry.

Rounding out the ensemble is Michael Zegen (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Rita Wilson (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Prasanna Puwanarajah (The Crown), Adele Exarchopoulos, Daisy Bevan, Kaori Momoi and Leo Reich.
"This is a show that is very close to my heart – created with my husband Luis, cast with my favourite actors, the geniuses that are Meg and Will, along with a bevy of friends – and partnering again with Working Title, who are behind the romantic comedies that formed me," Dunham said upon the show's announcement last year.
"Netflix has been so deeply supportive of the vision, which is to create a romantic comedy that makes us root for love, brings joy, but also has the jagged edges of life."
Too Much is yet to receive a release date.
