Top 5 Donald Trump Punch Lines of the Week: Health Care to Comey

Donald Trump’s presidency continues to dominate the late-night television landscape. Every monologue is filled with jokes about Trump, his family, and his administration. It is impossible to keep up with all the hilarious jokes, so we rounded up the top five Trump punch lines of the week.

John Oliver joked about the health care bill on Last Week Tonight, and Conan joked about Cinco de Mayo. But the majority of this week’s top five came from Donald Trump’s firing of the FBI’s director, James Comey.

Fallon and Colbert rip Donald Trump for firing Comey

When Comey found out, apparently he thought it was a prank. On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the host joked that Trump might know the feeling. Jimmy said, “They’re also saying when he got the news, Comey thought it was a prank and started laughing. But to be fair, that’s also how Trump reacted when he won the election.”

On The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, the host shared some comments from Trump, who said, “Comey lost the confidence of almost everyone in Washington, Republican and Democrat alike. When things calm down, they will be thanking me!” Colbert then added, “All right, how should we thank him? How should we thank him? We should get him something special. How about a special prosecutor?”
