If you've been wondering what to buy for the children in your life this Christmas, then wonder no more.

With the big day only a few weeks away, the ultimate toys of 2018 have finally been revealed today by the DreamToys organisation. The committee predicts which will be the most popular toys every year and is made up of retailers and industry experts from The Entertainer, Hamleys, Selfridges, Smyths Toys and Toymaster as well as buying groups that work with independent toy shops around the country. Basically, they know what they're talking about.

“It is a huge honour each year to unveil the DreamToys top twelve list,” said Gary Grant, chair of the group. “We have a fantastic range of toys this year to suit every budget, with three quarters of the list under £50, representing real value for money."

So what's on the list? Well, 2018 continues to be all about slime in its various forms, Fortnite and Harry Potter is as big as ever.

But don't delay if you want to treat your little ones to these must-have toys. Once revealed they tend to sell out, so shop them below now and you'll achieve superhero status come 25th December.
