The Zebra car insurance company analyzed the most recent Fatality Analysis Reporting System data to assess which roads, counties and states have the most risk for drivers based on the number of fatal car crashes.

The data dates back to 2019, as the National Highway Transportation Safety Agency has not released full data for 2020 and 2021.

The rankings are based on the number of traffic fatalities and the fatalities per every 100 miles.
