Tom Hanks Reacts to Donald Trump's 'Locker Room' Comments: 'I'm Offended as a Man'

Tom Hanks has a few things to get off his chest.

While promoting his new film, Inferno, the 60-year-old star opened up about the upcoming presidential election and the remarks about women that Donald Trump made during a leaked 2005 conversation with former Access Hollywood co-host Billy Bush.

"He was at work, man. He wasn't in the locker room," Hanks said to a reporter during a press junket. "He was at work. He was showing up to do a thing on camera."

"I'm offended as a man," Hanks continued. "I'm not offended as a husband or a father — I'm offended as a guy. That's just not right, I'm sorry. It's not right at work, it's not right in the locker room. It's wrong, period. The end. That's all."

Hanks goes on to summarize the 2016 election with the following analogy:

"It's kind of a like, if you have a horrible, painful tooth and you need a root canal — who are you gonna go see? A guy who says, 'Oh, I think I can figure out how to do a root canal for you — lay down.' Or are you gonna go see somebody who's done 6,000 of them, a degree on the wall, and has a great history and expertise?"

More questionable footage of Trump continues to surface. During an Entertainment Tonight segment filmed in 1992 at Trump Tower, the Republican presidential candidate can be heard making a lewd joke to a group of young girls. Trump was 46 years old at the time.

"You going up the escalator?" Trump asks the child, before saying, "I'm going to be dating her in 10 years, can you believe it?"
