Toddler drowns in pool at Bradenton vacation rental

BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — A toddler drowned after falling into the pool at a vacation rental home in Bradenton on Wednesday.

The home is located on 23th Avenue West, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

A family member discovered the 15-month-old unconscious at the bottom of the pool at 4:15 p.m. The toddler died at Blake Hospital just before 5 p.m.

The drowning appears to be an accident, according to Bradenton police. The family was visiting the area from Arkansas.
