How to celebrate National Pizza Day in New Jersey: Who has the best at the Shore?

Ask a room of 100 New Jerseyans which pizzeria makes the best pie, and you'll get 100 different answers – and probably a few fights.

And we don't mean that age-old debate over whether pineapple belongs on pizza (you won't find it on our pies, but to each his own). Pizza knowledge runs deep in the Garden State, where foodies talk Neopolitan versus New York style, and the benefits of wood-fired versus coal-fired ovens.

As for who makes the best pizza, that is subjective, of course: We love the pepperoni pie at Rosie's in Point Pleasant Beach, the carbonara pizza at Porta in Asbury Park, and the pan pizza at Fusaro's in Stafford.
