Timothy Adams, Robert Marshall take administrative positions in Chippewa Local Schools

Chippewa Local Schools has named two new administrators who will take their positions Aug. 1.

Timothy W. Adams will be the principal at Chippewa Junior/Senior High School. He is a 1999 alumnus of the district and has a variety of educational experiences at the middle and high school levels.

Robert Marshall has been appointed the district's director of operations. He served as assistant principal at Chippewa Jr./Sr. High School since 2019 and as a teacher 2003-2019.

“I’m excited to return to my roots in Doylestown, where my educational journey began, and to follow in the footsteps of my father, Bill Adams, who served as principal of Chippewa High School from 1993 to 1999,” Adams said in a news release.

He holds an Ohio Schools Superintendent License and a master’s degree in education administration. In his previous role as principal with Orrville City Schools, he implemented initiatives to foster a positive school culture and strengthen community relations, principles he hopes to continue at Chippewa Schools.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Adams back to Chippewa. His commitment to the success of every student aligns with our district’s mission of providing a high-quality education through innovative practices," said Todd Osborn, superintendent. "Additionally, his leadership skills, understanding of our community’s needs, and approach to student and staff development are exactly what our schools need during this time of growth and change.”

"I am looking forward to what this new position means for Chippewa Local Schools. I hope to make a positive impact within my role, not only in our school district but in our community as well," Marshall said.

Marshall’s background in education, including coaching roles and his time as an intervention specialist, provides him with insights into the needs and dynamics of the district, the release said. His connection with the community and understanding of school operations make him ideally suited to oversee the broad operational aspects of the district.

"We are delighted to have Rob step into this crucial role. His diverse experience at Chippewa Local, from classroom instruction to administrative leadership, has equipped him with a distinctive understanding of how to nurture operational excellence," Osborn said. "His commitment to our community and profound understanding of educational needs are critical as we continue to elevate our operational standards."
