Tiger King: Jeff Lowe plans to leave Joe Exotic's zoo in state of 'complete hell' for Carole Baskin

Tiger King star Jeff Lowe has boasted about his plans to leave Joe Exotic’s zoo in a state of “complete hell” when it is handed over to Carole Baskin.

Earlier this week, it was announced that the GW Exotic Animal Memorial Park in Oklahoma had been awarded to Exotic’s nemesis Baskin, to help satisfy a $1m judgement that Exotic was ordered to pay her for copyright infringement.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Lowe said the zoo would look like "complete hell" because “I'm not taking care of it as we leave”.

Lowe has been given 120 days to vacate the property and remove all the aimals living in it. He added: "The bamboo is about taking this place over."

"It’s always been our intention to leave this place," he said. "We don’t particularly like it here, because of its geographical location. It’s not a great place for a business, it was poorly constructed, so we’re happy to let her have it… I wish her all the luck in the world, and she can have these 16 acres of haunted memories."

Baskin, who owns an animal sanctuary in Florida, has been a vocal critic of Exotic’s animal park for many years. Her feud with Exotic escalated into a court battle, with Exotic arguing that Baskin was trying to destroy his business with an online smear campaign. Baskin, however, argued that Exotic was abusing his animals.

Exotic is currently serving 22 years in prison after being convicted in 2019 of trying to hire a hitman to kill Baskin, as well as numerous animal abuse charges.

Tiger King was a huge hit when it aired on Netflix earlier this year, and it was recently announced that Nicolas Cage will be playing Exotic in a scripted adaptation of the documentary.
