Tickets go on sale Friday for 311 San Diego tour stop with AWOLNATION, Neon Trees
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — 311 is heading to San Diego this August part of their summer tour with special guests AWOLNATION and Neon Trees.
The Unity Tour kicks off July 20 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and heads to the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre in San Diego on Aug. 25.

Tickets go on sale March 15 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. Pre-sale tickets and VIP packages are available starting Tuesday.
The San Diego show starts at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25. at San Diego State University’s Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre, which is a cashless and clear bag venue.

The tour also heads to Costa Mesa in California, before it wraps up on Aug. 31 in Redmond, Washington.
311 was formed in 1990 in Omaha, Nebraska, featuring Nick Hexum (vocals/guitar), Chad Sexton (drums), Tim Mahoney (guitar), SA Martinez (vocals/dj), and P-Nut (bass).
311 mixes rock, rap, reggae and funk to create their own hybrid sound. 33 years later, the band is still touring, considered one of the longest running original lineups in rock alongside iconic acts like U2 and Radiohead, the tour announcement stated.

The band has released 13 studio albums, two greatest hits albums, two live albums, three DVD’s and a boxed-set, and have sold over 9 million records in the U.S.
Ten of their albums have reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top 200 Sales Chart, and nine of their singles have reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Alternative Radio Chart.
