Thursday, April 11th e-learning day for McCormick Co. students

McCORMICK COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – According to school officials, the McCormick County School District has announced that Thursday, April 11th will be an e-learning day due to the predicted high winds and severe weather that are being forecasted.

Administrators say the predicted wind gusts of up to 40 MPH makes it unsafe for bus operations.

According to administrators, students will have access to instruction via their google classroom, and additional details regarding student expectations for Thursday will be communicated from the students’ school following this message.

School officials also state that all athletic and extracurricular events and practices are also canceled for Thursday.
