Three San Jose homicide suspects arrested

(KRON) — A homicide investigation stretched from San Jose, to Livermore, to Hayward, to Oakland before detectives arrested a trio of suspected killers.

The victim was fatally shot on Tully Road on the night of Oct. 25, 2023. Over the next several months, detectives said they were able to identify three suspects as Saran Moeun, Chhorn Than, and Vu Hung Le.

On March 26, the San Jose Police Department Covert Response Unit found Moeun, 34, in Oakland and Than, 35, in Livermore.

Officers served search warrants at the suspects’ residences in Oakland and Hayward and seized multiple firearms and ammunition. Moeun and Than were arrested and booked into a Santa Clara County jail on suspicion of homicide.

On May 3, members of CRU found and arrested suspect Le, 35, in San Jose. Le was also booked into jail.

“The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation,” SJPD wrote. The victim’s name was not released by law enforcement officials.
