Three people hurt following apartment fire in east Charlotte
The people have been hurt following an apartment fire in east Charlotte.
The Charlotte Fire Department responded to a fire at Winding Cedar Trail near Albemarle Road around 3 a.m.
It took firefighters just 20 minutes to get the fire under control.
MEDIC says one of the injured people was taken to an area hospital. The other people declined treatment.
Fortunately, no firefighters were injured.
Channel 9 has reached out to the Charlotte Fire Department to learn the cause of the fire.
