We're not shocked anymore. And that's frightening.
Prediction - we don't even have a name yet, but we can safely predict that the shooter has been going over the edge for months, probably years, and lots of people knew it. Almost certainly his family and probably his employer and the police knew he was dangerous, but nobody did anything about it. When are we going to create and adequately fund a mental health system? One with legal teeth to take dangerous people off the streets (for their protection as well as ours) and legal safeguards to see it isn't abused.
Surely it will be cheaper than these funerals.
Best of thoughts to the families of the victims.
Human life means very little to people nowadays. Very sad
OMG, that's my hometown. Rancho Tehama is a small ranch community up the road from the farm where I grew up. Unfortunately, the community has been fraught with crime and a haven for backwoods drug deals since the 1960s. Some city folks tried to revive the community in the 2000s and built luxury-style homes in the area, but they were not able to completely gentrify the area. Very sad, and my heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and to all who are affected by this horrible situation.
Another school shooting? Must be Tuesday. Guess tomorrow we'll have another terrorist attack.
Where will the madness end?
These poor children and their families. Sending your children to school should NOT be a life threatening thing to do.
Thanks for saving my tax dollars and killing him :)
This is terrible for the families. God be with them.
I used to live in Rancho Tehema. It used to be a beautiful community. Now it’s all illegals, gangs, cartels, druggies, etc. Basically everyone that needed to hide from law enforcement and grow pot and cook meth. Thoughts are with the families of the lost.
I think people are attacking these schools because of the notoriety they receive from the media. So sad for these innocent children
