Over the weekend, Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson were spotted eating dinner together at a West Hollywood restaurant — fueling dating rumors. However, it turns out that wasn't the end of the story — or at least the one you were expecting to hear.

According to Page Six, three servers from the Sunset Tower Hotel’s starry Tower Bar were fired on Monday (August 8) after the photo of the two celebs surfaced on the internet. A source says that the employees weren't accused of having taken the picture, but were terminated for not preventing the guest from snapping it. That's because the establishment has a no-photography policy since it's frequented by celebs.

If the report is indeed true, this is a pretty awful experience for the people who were fired over somebody else's actions. There might be more to the story that we don't know yet, but from the looks of it at the moment, it's a fairly unfortunate situation all around.

Furthermore, it looks like nothing romantic was happening between Katy and Robert, even if the internet was wondering otherwise. It was apparently a group get together, which we also pointed out when the photo began making the rounds. The former Twilight actor is currently engaged to FKA Twigs and recently opened up about why he tends to be secretive about his relationships.
