Three charged in over $1K Walmart theft

KELLY TOWNSHIP, UNION COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Three people have been charged for allegedly stealing over $1,000 worth of products from a Walmart in Union County.

State police say they were called to the Lewisburg Walmart on AJK Boulevard on March 14 for a reported retail theft.

According to investigators, 52-year-old Stephen Durham, from West Milton, 53-year-old Cedric Edwards, from Philadelphia, and 44-year-old Sophia Maddox, from Philadelphia, were involved in stealing multiple products on March 1.

All three have been charged with the following:

  • Felony Grade 3 – Retail Theft (Greater than $1,000)

  • Misdemeanor Grade 1 – Receiving Stolen Property

  • Felony Grade 3 – Conspiracy Retail Theft

Troopers said household, personal, and grocery items valued at $1,350 were stolen.
