Thomasville notifies release of untreated wastewater into creeks

May 16—THOMASVILLE — The city of Thomasville discharged more than 40,000 gallons of untreated wastewater into local waterways due to large amount of rain that fell in the area.

The city discharged an estimated 6,300 gallons of untreated wastewater into Jimmy's Creek at Pilot Pump Station, 300 High Meadows Road.
