Thomas Hospital, Wells Fargo partner for 46th Annual Spring Fever Chase

FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WKRG) — The 46th Annual Spring Fever Chase is set for this Saturday morning.

Thomas Hospital and Wells Fargo are hosting the 10K run at 8 a.m. Saturday on a beautiful yet challenging course through Fairhope neighborhoods overlooking Mobile Bay.

If the 10K run is too much, you can register for the 2-mile fun run/walk.

Attendees will meet up at Fairhope Avenue and N. Bayview Avenue.

The Spring Fever Chase donates its proceeds annually to Baldwin County Public Schools to enhance their physical education programs.

In 2023, Baldwin County Public Schools received $18,000 in grants, which is the highest amount ever donated, for buying equipment and funding programs that promote healthy and active lifestyles for local children.

Online registration ends Wednesday night, but race day registration ends at 7:45 a.m. for the 10K, and day of registration for the 2 Miles Fun Run will also be offered before the race starts at 8:15 a.m.

There are currently 623 participants signed up for Saturday’s race.
