This Little Girl Loves Her Outfit So Much

Daily affirmations have been recommended by professionals as a way to help you focus on the positive and improve self confidence for a long time now, but for one little girl, those inspiring pep talks are just a source of fun — not a morning chore.

A little girl living in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, is going viral after being filmed by her mother, Jamie Rabaut, while giving herself a very motivating pep talk in the mirror. The video shows the little girl — named Audrey — proudly repeating, “I’m cute,” “I’m beautiful,” and “I’m smart,” to her reflection while checking out her outfit and the matching hair bow. The video, which has already been viewed well over 24,000 times and has garnered positive comments like, “This little girl is too cute!” and “ I couldn’t stop smiling watching this!!” apparently displays Audrey’s natural behavior. Her mother wrote on Facebook that Audrey compliments people everywhere she goes, with daily compliments ranging from “I like your dress” to “your hair is beautiful.”

However, Audrey isn’t the only little girl to go viral for her “daily affirmations.” A few years ago, a little girl named Jessica gave a confident mirror talk in which she says things like “I can do anything good,” and “I can do anything better than anyone.”

While these videos are obviously adorable, the important message here is to spread positivity rather than any degrading or negative thoughts, whether it’s aimed to yourself or others. So, take a page out of Audrey’s book on this one and tell someone they’re beautiful today.
