Things to do this weekend: Egg hunts, bubbles, Jesus Christ Superstar

(WHTM) — Spring is finally here and with it are plenty of things to do in the Midstate. Here is abc27’s list of suggestions from Friday, March 22 to Sunday, March 24.

Harrisburg area

Bunny Blast — The City of Harrisburg is hosting a day of Easter-themed fun this Saturday, March 23. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sunshine Park and will feature an egg hunt, Easter Bunny photos, food, music, a bubble festival and more. Learn more on the city’s website.

Swan Lake — The Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet will present Act II of Swan Lake at the Whitaker Center this Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24. There will be two shows on Saturday at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. and one show on Sunday at 2 p.m. To learn more about how to attend, visit the venue’s website.

Lancaster area

Egg Hunt for Pups — Humane Pennsylvania is hosting their second annual Egg Hunt for Pips this weekend at the Lancaster Center for Animal Life-Saving. The event will be Saturday, March 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature treat and prize-filled Easter eggs. The cost to attend is $10 per dog and all proceeds benefit animals in Humane Pennsylvania’s care. Pre-registration is required online ahead of attendance.

York area

Neil Diamond Tribute — This Friday beginning at 7 p.m., the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center in Hanover will host “So Good!: The Neil Diamond Experience.” To learn more about the tribute show, or to buy a ticket, visit the venue’s website.

Hershey area

Adult Easter Egg Hunt — Englewood Brewing in Hummelstown is hosting an Adult Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free and guests must be 21 years or older to attend. Learn more in the Visit Hershey & Harrisburg website.

Jesus Christ Superstar — The show “Jesus Christ Superstar” is coming to the Hershey Theatre this weekend on its 50th anniversary tour.
