Things to experience in Baja this weekend: Acrobatic dancing, fire and art

SAN DIEGO (Border Report) — Acrobatic dancers, fire and art set to up-tempo music — that’s MULUK.

This is the third year the event will be held in Tijuana.

It will be at the Encierro Bar at 10185 Boulevard Agua Caliente in Tijuana.

The show starts at 9 p.m. Ticket cost starts at $6.50.

Techno time

Considered one of Mexico’s premier DJs, Villaseñor will be on stage this Saturday for what promotors are calling a six-hour music marathon.

He will appear at Marko Disko from 9 p.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. on Sunday.

The venue is located at 2000 Boulevard Cuauhtemoc Sur Poniente in Tijuana.

Tickets cost $17 at the door.

Panic in the streets of Tijuana

If you’re a fan of the Smiths, the English band from the early 80s led by singer Morrissey, you’ll want to attend a tribute to this group Saturday night in Tijuana.

Tormentors, The Smiths & Morrissey Experience will perform at Republica Malta club at 1143 Calle José Gorostiza in Tijuana.

Music starts at 8:30 p.m. Cost is $15.
