Some Things You Didn't Know About Amanda Bynes

Amanda Bynes, the child/teen actress turned kooky adult, has gone and filled out one of those Us Weekly celebrity survey things, "25 Things You Don't Know About Me." Yeah. She doesn't really seem to have "handlers" anymore, so there was no one to stop Bynes from doing this strange thing — strange especially considering she has nothing to promote at the moment. Oh, well! She did it, and she didn't do that badly. Here are the best answers:

So.... There you have it! Amanda Bynes has lost some weight and would like to lose a kind of horrifying amount more, and she falls asleep during massages. But really the two most intimate details about her life, the things that really cut to the heart of who Amanda Bynes is, are that Rag & Bone makes the best jeans and that Alexander Wang can't be beaten when it comes to T-shirts. Don't you feel so close to her now, knowing that? Knowing those very important facts, that are definitely about her? And aren't so proud of her for surviving the hurricane? She should do one of these every week. Really. Please, Ms. Bynes. Please, Us Weekly. Every week for the rest of time. [Us Weekly]

The other day we heard that Kathie Lee Gifford wants to move, herself and her show, to Los Angeles, and today we're hearing that her cohost Hoda Kotb — the tonic to her gin, the vermouth to her vodka — wants to stay put in New York. This is obviously causing some tension at the workplace, exacerbated by the fact that Kathie Lee didn't promote Hoda's latest book on air. Of course all is pretty much forgotten the moment either of them hears that sweet pop! of a cork being loosed from a bottle, so nothing's gone terribly wrong yet, but eventually things will boil over and blood could be spilled. In the meantime, let's all remember that we're talking about tensions on the set of the fourth hour of the Today show. That's what's being discussed here. Two old drunk ladies making squint eyes at celebrities while crows fly out of their mouths. Ultimately, if anything goes terribly awry over there, I think we'll all somehow survive. [TMZ]

The French male model who was injured during the big bottle-throwing fracas between Chris Brown and Aubrey "Drake" Graham that happened at a nightclub some time ago has filed a lawsuit against the club and the two musicians, and now they have responded. Naturally both famous parties deny any responsibility, each blaming the other. It's still unclear who started the fight — did Aubrey send a snippy note to Chris, did Chris shoot Aubrey in the hallway at school while covered in chicken feathers — but really that shouldn't matter. What matters is that they were both involved, both were throwing things, and the world's most precious resource, a French male model, was injured. So pay up, guys. Just do it. Chris, you must have a lot of money by now, you won't miss a little of it. And Aubrey, just pawn a Gemini award or something. You must have one. Come on everyone. Give the French male model what he's owed. [Page Six]

Tom Cruise has sold one of the first homes he ever owned, a 2,200 square-foot apartment on 13th Street in Greenwich Village. Well it's sort of Greenwich Village. It's really just... 13th Street. Union Square Super South. I don't know. Anyway, this is a pad that has been home to Nicole Kidman, Katie Holmes, and briefly Mimi Rogers and Cher. Tom's had it a long time, but now it's gone, for $3 million. Hah, does Tom Cruise even notice when $3 million is added to his bank account? Does it roll over with the Keep the Change program? Cruise may buy another place in the New York area, but it would more likely be somewhere outside the city, the Hamptons maybe. So, that's that. I wonder who bought the place. And I wonder if sometimes, late at night, echos of what once happened there will fill the rooms. If so, I hope the person will tell us all what they say. [Us Weekly]

Here are some photos of Oprah's new redesigned house in Santa Barbara. Well, it might actually just be one picture? Like, is that a before and after? An after and before? Whatever it is, one thing is clear: Oprah does not have very good taste! I know, I know, we're all supposed to love her favorite things, but eesh. Look at both of those photos. There is a lot of wrong going on in both of them. The one on the bottom particularly, but the top one has plenty of issues too. I don't think I would like Oprah's house! I mean, I would like it in the sense that it's Oprah's house and probably the size of an airplane hangar, but her weird, antique-y, "this is what being rich looks like right?" style is not a winner. Oprah, you've been rich for like thirty years! You don't need to live in a chateau or an old hunting estate. We all know you're rich. This looks like a Real Housewife's house. Don't live like a Giudice, Oprah. Just don't do it. [People]

Fish prince Michael Phelps apparently has a new girlfriend that he met while both were on vacation in Cabo. Though, I'm not actually sure she's going to be his girlfriend much longer as she's given an extensive interview detailing almost every moment of their first meeting and subsequent dating. She says things like, "He would kiss me in front of his friends – you could tell he was happy to have me there. He was treating me like I was his girl." So I can't imagine that Phelpsy will be thrilled about that. The whole bizarre interview is worth a read, even if you have to scroll through her cheapo swimsuit fashion shoot to do so. It's unclear if she took the photos for the interview or if those photos already existed, but they're not really doing her any favors. They look like photos that a Law & Order detective would look at as they shook their head and said "Beautiful girl" before having the coroner do an autopsy. [Daily Mail]
