The Theme of American Horror Story Season 6 Is Finally Revealed
After rampant speculation — fueled by equally rampant teasing by the show’s producers — the theme of the sixth season of American Horror Story is now public knowledge.
My Roanoke Nightmare is the title of the newest installment, which began on Wednesday night. “Roanoke” here refers not to the Virginia city but the island off the coast of North Carolina, where in the late 16th century a group of settlers infamously disappeared without a trace. The new season, Deadline reports, is set two centuries after that, in an old farmhouse; it’s unclear if — but seems likely that — it’s tied to the legacy of the Lost Colony.
Fans seem sufficiently satisfied so far.
