The Worst Reviewed Actors In Hollywood Revealed

A new study has revealed the Hollywood stars critics love to hate, naming the actors with the worst reviewed films of the last 5 years. Unsurprisingly, ‘Ridiculous 6′ stars Rob Schneider and Adam Sandler topped the male list, while Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jessica Alba were named the female actresses who make the worst movies.

The analysis by Vox trawled through reams of data on Metacritic, a website dedicated to aggregating movie reviews from major outlets, to work out which big name stars repeatedly made rubbish movies.

Vox limited its findings to actors and actresses who’ve starred in at least 10 films, one of which must have taken at least $30 million (£20.9m) at the box office in the last 5 years.

Metacritic considers reviews of 0-49/100 negative, 50-74 mixed, and 75-100 positive.

On the flipside, Vox also analysed the actors with the best reviews too. A pair of Brits topped both lists, with Daniel Day-Lewis as the #1 actor with a 73% average Metacritic rating, while Carey Mulligan was the #1 actress with a 69% average.
