The Beautiful Cars of the Mille Miglia

Started in 1927 as essentially a deadly dare — can you make it from northern Italy to Rome and back, at top speed, on public roads, without killing yourself? — the Mille Miglia has evolved in the modern era to the world's longest, fastest parade of near-priceless cars. Here's our look at those that made the trip this year; click here for our story on how Italians still venerate velocity.
