According to a recent study by the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association, more people – between 500,000 and 750,000 in either full- or part-time capacities – are living on the road in the United States than ever before. And the number is expected to grow every year.
As the popularity of living with no fixed address continues to rise, so to does the number of campers and homes-on-wheels of all sorts — with roughly 9 million RVs and campers rolling across the country today, up from 6.9 million in 2001 and 5.0 million in 1980.
