TGSO arrests one, seizes 94 grams of meth

SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — What started as a typical traffic stop for the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office turned into an arrest after patrol officers found 94 grams of methamphetamine, among other illicit items.

According to TGSO, members of the office’s Patrol Division conducted a traffic stop on the north side of San Angelo for a moving violation during the morning hours of April 13.

An investigation led to the discovery of an undisclosed amount of marijuana and 94 grams of meth. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 27-year-old Wesley Mitcham, was arrested on the following charges:

  • Possession of Marijuana < 2 OZ

  • Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1< =4G < 200G

  • A charge listed as “a second felony” by TGCSO

  • three City of San Angelo warrants
