Watch Teyana Taylor’s Kanye-Produced New Album Listening Party

The Los Angeles event live-streamed last night

Teyana Taylor hosted a listening party for her new album last night in Los Angeles, California. It was reportedly held in a studio lot with a set modeled after Harlem, Taylor’s hometown. The set involved a bunch NYPD cop cars. The latest Kanye West-produced record received the same treatment as ye, Kids See Ghosts, and Nasir—the occasion was live streamed online. Watch clips of the songs—including one featuring Kanye—below.

According to the below tweet from Kim Kardashian West, it looks like Kanye was still finishing the album earlier today.

Taylor’s album—which is due sometime today (June 22)—marks the last of five Kanye West-produced projects that Kanye promised back in April. It follows Pusha-T’s Daytona, West’s ye and Kids See Ghosts, and Nas’ Nasir.

Taylor contributed to West’s 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. She also featured on “Christmas in Harlem” that same year. She signed with West’s Def Jam imprint G.O.O.D. Music in 2012, and later that year, appeared on the Cruel Summer compilation. Taylor released her debut album VII in November 2014.
