Texas School Superintendent Accused of Being Schoolyard Bully
Video of a school district board meeting in Katy, Texas, on March 19 has gone viral after a man accused the superintendent of bullying him 30 years ago in junior high.
Greg Barrett shared his story of being bullied as a student at West Memorial Junior High in the Houston suburb of Katy before accusing superintendent Lance Hindt of being the ringleader. Barrett’s account of being targeted for his original surname, Gay, went viral after a video of the meeting was published on YouTube. The clip was featured on the front page of Reddit on Tuesday evening.
Hindt has come under fire over the accusation and for appearing to laugh at Barrett’s comment that he came close to committing suicide over the bullying.
