‘Terrorist groups keep planning attacks’: US issues travel warning for this country
(WJW) – The US has issued a travel warning for Germany.
“Terrorist groups keep planning attacks in Germany,” the US Department of State noted in its advisory.
The Level 2 warning urges people to “exercise increased caution.”

The warning noted tourist locations like transportation hubs, hotels, restaurants, clubs, places of worships, parks and cultural events, are frequently targeted.
“Terrorists may attack with little or no warning,” the State Department said.
Germany is the only European nation to have an elevated travel warning from the US in 2024, except for Moldova, which borders Ukraine.

Canada issued an advisory on travel to Germany in March.
The US advisory was issued on May 1.
