Terrifying photos show plane after it skids off runway towards the sea

If flying makes you nervous in any way, you should probably stop reading right about now.

A Pegasus Boeing 737-800 came off the runway at Trabzon Airport in Turkey on Saturday. After leaving the runway the aircraft then slid downhill towards the sea.

Here's what the aftermath looked like in the light of day.

Luckily the crew was able to safely evacuate everyone aboard the plane.

Pegasus Airlines issued the following statement about the incident:
