Terra State Community College students begin new chapter with graduation
FREMONT - Terra State Community College held its 55th commencement on May 10. Graduates earned associate degrees in such fields as applied business, applied science, the arts, individualized study, science and technical study. Also, certificates were earned in such fields as auto repair, basic law, communication, computer aided design, general business, heating ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration, manufacturing, interactive media, business, electrical, the medical field, and welding, just to name a few.
The commencement address was delivered by LTC Timothy M. Adair, Commander, US Army Recruiting Battalion-Cleveland, and the student address was made by Brittany Goeller. Student Nina Navarett, accompanied by the Terra Brass Choir, sang the National Anthem. The college had 310 graduates and the event was held in the Elaine Denman Student Activities Center on campus.
