Temps dip overnight ahead of warmer Monday

(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Good evening and happy Sunday Funday! As we wrap up the weekend and head into a new week, we are expecting another quiet and beautiful night across the Carolinas, followed by warm temperatures to start next week. Highs on Monday and Tuesday should be even warmer than what we saw on Sunday before a brief cooldown on Wednesday. Our next significant chance for wet weather will not come until we get to the weekend.

As for tonight and Monday, mostly clear skies are again on the way tonight, but we won’t get as cool across the Carolinas as we did this morning with a low Monday in the 50s. Monday afternoon will bring even warmer weather than what we saw Sunday, with highs in the mid to upper 80s across the region. While there is a small chance of a shower, partly cloudy skies are expected throughout the day

Tuesday will bring more toasty temperatures, with highs in the mid-80s,s followed by the chance of a few showers on Wednesday as a weak cold front brings a brief drop in temperatures for the middle of the week. Later in the week, we are expecting more warm temperatures before a stronger cold front on the way next weekend. That will also be our next significant chance for wet weather in the region.

In the meantime, get ready for some more toasty temperatures! Have a great week!
