Temporary closure of 30th St. and Pacific Ave. starts May 13

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – A heads up if you’re heading to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront the week of May 13.

The intersection of 30th Street and Pacific Avenue will be closed for paving starting at 7 p.m. that Monday. The city says, weather permitting, the intersection is scheduled to reopen by the end of the day on May 17.

During the closure, the intersection will be closed to through traffic. Detours will be in place to reroute traffic and there will be warning signs posted alerting drivers of the closed road.
