Temperatures cooler as drier air settles across the peninsula

Friday will be a few degrees cooler and much dryer than Thursday.

Highs are in the low to mid-70s along the Space Coast and in the upper 70s along the Treasure Coast, according to NWS Melbourne.

Several inland locations will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Entering the surf is inadvisable as life-threatening rip currents are at area beaches.

There is also a small craft advisory for all Atlantic waters.
