Telegraph Fantasy Football 16/17 tips: Elite League Cup competitions are now underway

If you signed up to join a Telegraph Fantasy Football Elite League this season, your team will have been automatically drawn into a separate cup competition which got underway in Week 26.

There are four knock-out rounds to negotiate your way through and the highest scoring manager in each head-to-head fixture will advance to the next round:

1. Round of 16: based on Month 7 points (January 31, 2017 - February 27, 2017)

2. Quarter Finals: based on Month 8 points (February 28, 2017 - April 3, 2017)

3. Semi Finals: based on Month 9 points (April 4, 2017 - May 1, 2017)

4. The Final: based on Month 10 points (May 2, 2017 - May 27, 2017)

The winner of every Cup competition will win a cash prize, again dependent on the entry level you selected:

1. £5 entry fee: £25

2. £10 entry fee: £50

3. £20 entry fee: £100

So if you had a poor Week 26 don't panic, there's still plenty of time to boost your score and make your way through to the quarter finals.
