Tekken 7 fix for matchmaking problems coming soon
Tekken 7 released last week to high praise from critics and players, but has been suffering from matchmaking issues on console. Bandai Namco has responded and patches are on the way.
The Tekken team acknowledged issues with matchmaking on its official site yesterday, stating it was planning to “address the problem through an online update scheduled to modify the game spec and improve matching.”
Today, the European Tekken site posted a schedule for upcoming patches expected to fix the matchmaking problems and address PC security issues.
On June 7, the Tekken team will roll out a patch for the PC version which will improve security and update Denuvo, the game’s anti-tampering software that was apparently cracked within days of release.
By the end of the week, Tekken team plans on releasing a PS4 patch to address online stability and matchmaking problems. The following week, a similar patch will be released on Xbox One and PC.
The Tekken team says it will have more information on these updates soon.
