Milwaukee police investigate fatal shooting Saturday

A 30-year-old person was shot and killed Saturday night, Milwaukee police say.

Police said the shooting took place shortly after 7:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of North 21st Street. Police originally said the victim's age was estimated between 16 and 18 years old, but in the department's statement sent Monday, police said the victim was 30 years old.

The victim died at the scene and will be identified by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office following an autopsy.
