Teenager dies days after being shot in Oxon Hill

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said it was investigating a shooting in Oxon Hill that left a teenager from D.C. dead.

The shooting happened in the 1000 block of Kennebec St. on April 22 around 10 p.m. There, officers found 16-year-old De’Marco Bradford and a man outside. Both of them had been shot.

They were both taken to the hospital. Bradford died a few days later. The other man’s injuries were not considered life-threatening, according to police.

The motive of the shooting and who was involved was still being investigated.

PGPD is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone with information that leads to an arrest and indictment of those involved.
